WHICH WAS ALREADY WAS WHAT TO COME WILL BE followed by WILL ALSO PASS
FINE BLOW IN HARD STONE followed by AUTUMN WINDS
Given the present circumstance that characterizes the new generation of creators - excess of creativity and voluntary need to materialize versus limited possibilities of materialization for logistical reasons - the two authors, after several discussions of themselves and among themselves, were faced with the impossibility to choose just one of two ideas that each had been developing and decide to join together and share the same workspace.
These shows do not intend to have a contemporary language in the sense that the materials and language used are as old as being, being, acting, thinking, speaking and acting - even resorting to classical and archaic forms such as tragedy, the novel, the recital, the monologue, ballet, physical theatre, sign language, contact-improvisation, modern dance, wrestling and gymnastics. They are, however, contemporaneous with each other – as they are two creations presented at the same time and in the same space – thus proposing to give back to the word contemporaneity its concrete meaning.
